DHARTI is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 DHARTI Research and Development Grant. This funding initiative is designed to support innovative projects in the fields of digital curation, archival practice, computational text analysis, and public-facing digital humanities initiatives in India.
Scholars, independent researchers, and collaborative teams are invited to submit proposals. The grant particularly encourages projects that:
- Build or extend digital resources in Indian languages
- Engage with public memory, heritage, and community archives
- Develop experimental tools or methods for humanistic inquiry
Applications will remain open until 30 November 2025, with successful projects to be announced in January 2026.
