DHARTI is delighted to announce that Dr. Ananya Sen, a leading researcher in South Asian digital archives, has been awarded the 2025 Global Digital Humanities Excellence Prize. The award recognises her outstanding contributions to building multilingual digital corpora and advancing methods for computational analysis of Indian literary traditions.
In her acceptance remarks, Dr. Sen emphasised the importance of developing tools and platforms that are both accessible and rooted in local scholarly traditions. “Digital humanities in South Asia is not just about technology—it is about making voices, languages, and histories visible in ways that reshape the global field,” she said.
